About Us

Woodland Performing Arts (previously Raymond Theatre Company) was formed in May 2021 by a group of Valley High School students in West Des Moines, Iowa. We strive to bringing amazing productions each summer to central Iowa while giving new learning experiences to those between the ages of 13-19 in the areas of acting, technical theatre, and music. While not only helping our cast, crew, and audience. We look for projects and other non profits to donate to. In 2021, we premiered our first show, titled 'Alleyway Girl'. With this production, we were able to raise almost $1000 for Central Iowa Shelter and Services so those who are in need could receive proper care.
